Sunday, January 21, 2018, 8:55 a.m., Meet in front of El Fornet, Carrer d'Aragó, 284
Are you ready to hike the Mediterranean Trail?
Starting in January we're embarking on a new ASB hiking series following the GR-92 Mediterranean Trail. Stretching from France to Valencia, the GR-92 hugs the coastline covering a distance of 583 km in total. We'll be starting our series in the south heading north and we'll hike as many segments of this marvelous long distance trail as are accessible by train. Each month we'll pick up where we left off in the previous hike, and continue along the trail.
In January, rain or shine, we’ll be meeting at 8:55 a.m. El Fornet, Carrer d'Aragó, 284 where we catch the train from Passeig de Gràcia to L'Ampolla (R16). January's hike will ease us into our 2018 hiking series with a 16 km hike from l'Ampolla to l'Ametlla de Mar. Our trail follows the GR-92 all along the rocky coast passing by many of the beautiful blue coves the Costa Daurada is so well know for.
Please be sure to read the full hike description and download the trail on Wikiloc so you can follow the trail on your phone/GPS device.
