  • ASB Hike: Poblat Ibèric de les Maleses; 11 km

June 23, 2013     ASB Hike: Poblat Ibèric de les Maleses
Meet in front of Cafe Zurich
    Plaça de Catalunya, 1
    More Info/Register

We know, we know, it’s la Revetlla de Sant Joan...

But we promise to get you back early! This hike is short, so you’ll be home in plenty of time to have a shower, and even a little siesta before heading out for the evening’s festivities.

June’s second hike brings us to Parc de la Serralada de Marina where we’ll visit the ruins of Poblat Ibèric de les Maleses, an Iberian village settled in the 3rd century B.C. Strategically located for defense, this hilltop provides beautiful views of Barcelona, Montseny Park and the sea. Please note that though our trail is clearly marked and heavily used, the vegetation in this area is often very dense, so pay special attention to the thorny bushes along the way.

Finding your way through the maze of U.S. Immigration law can be daunting.

Fortunately, ASB sponsor Surowitz Immigration, a U.S. law firm that specializes in U.S. immigration law, will be flying in from California to give a talk covering various topics involving immigration to the U.S. including:

    • current trends in U.S. immigration law
    • most common methods to obtain temporary & permanent immigration status in the U.S.
    • an in-depth focus on relocating to California - finding employment, starting or relocating a business, educational institutions, etc.

Our speaker, Joshua Surowitz of Surowitz Immigration, will provide us with a 30-40 minute informational session followed by a question & answer period. The evening will close with informal drinks & snacks.
