Festival de Sant Feliu de Pallerols, May 9 to 13, 2008
One of the jewels of popular Catalan tradition (which falls between mid May and June around the Easter Granada festival) is the Dance of Cavallets, Gegants and Mulassa of Sant Feliu de Pallerols. The celebration is comprised of a group of eight cavallets (horses), a couple of gegants and a mulassa, and it’s structured in five dances. Because of this dance the festival of Sant Feliu de Pallerols has been declared a traditional festival of national interest by The Generalitat of Catalonia.
