After completing a project in Barcelona, I have returned Spain and decided to pursue employment opportunities (specifically in Barcelona). Any and all assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
As an introduction to me and my professional background:
I am originally from Southern California but have lived outside of the state and the country for most of my adult life. My undergraduate degree was earned in economics from Duke University and I received my masters in engineering (operations - logistics and supply chain management) through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) International program.
I have a base in finance, having initially worked in investment banking and capital markets for Wall Street firms. After receiving my master's, I entered Lucent's Leadership Development program as a manager in its Supply Chain Networks division in Puerto Rico focusing on the Caribbean and Latin American regions. Finally, for the last couple of years I have been working internationally in direct sales for various media publications around the world (based on-location in four continents), conducting business in both English and Spanish.
I know that it is often difficult for US citizens to find employment comparable to what they are accustomed to at home while in Europe, and the current state of the economy (especially in Spain) does not help our cause. That being said, I understand that companies abroad (particularly multinationals) generally appreciate the style of work exhibited by Americans AND assume that the knowledge base and network of those connected to the American Society should be able to provide one of the best resources for qualified and experienced professionals searching for rewarding employment.

A friend of mine is looking for a room in a shared flat. He's a 40 years old Telecommunications Engineer (with Master) and works in a German company (Deutsche Telekom, same group as T-Mobile in USA). He's also very friendly and responsible.

- Easy to park a car or with a parking place in the surroundings.
- Preferable with mates to speak in English with (mother tongue or not).
- Price: about 300€ or 400€
